Titignano Castle is located between Orvieto and Todi, specifically, among the slopes of Mount Peglia in beautiful Umbria
It stands on a panoramic valley overlooking Lake Corbara, a man-made lake in the middle of central Italy.
The residence, dating back to the 1600s is composed of an entire hamlet of property , so the castle has large spaces set up that are very suitable for celebrating your wedding. The Titignano Castle also has an indoor church and numerous bedrooms, which offer a large number of places.
Among the main features of the castle, in addition to the wonderful view of Lake Corbara just mentioned, is the special feature of dining outdoors in a completely empty square. Which makes the ‘atmosphere truly surreal, the bride and groom will be catapulted into a unique atmosphere.
F&D got married in the beautiful Titignano, I so appreciated the choice to dress in locationa titignano, spurring the church for the religious rite in Titignano in the small square and so I could tell the story much more accurately. Super logistics!!!

On the way up to Titignano Castle a peculiar thing happens. Certainly not an optical illusion. Driving along the road amidst greenery and cultivated fields, you approach your destination, but the castle is not visible. Perhaps it is because it is one of those beauties of Italy that like to remain secluded, far from the great flow of tourists. Like a pearl hidden in its shell. One finds oneself inside the spaces of Titignano Castle, amidst the walls, the stones, in a small square where beauty and harmony have always lived.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. It took place in the church, at 5pm (in the late afternoon it was a little cooler). Sofia looked wonderful as she walked down the aisle holding her daddy’s proud arm, beaming with joy and excitement. With some heartfelt personal readings from V’s sister and best friend, V&L got married! Yay!
From the clearing in the wooded area, the guests moved to the courtyard for a welcome drink and snacks. Here a local band started playing live Italian classics and the wedding was in full swing.
As well as having a strong family theme for this wedding, many of V&L’s friends got involved in some way, singing with the live band or DJing later at the garden party. Everyone seemed to want to help make this a day to remember.
